Discover Articulation Challenge

Built on the success of the Articulation Prize for young people aged between 16-19, the Discover Articulation Challenge is an annual competition dedicated to engaging Key Stage 4 students with art and developing their confidence and ability to express their opinions, thoughts and ideas.  Students are invited to submit a 2-3 minute film of themselves speaking about a work of art, an artefact or a piece of architecture of their choice. Judges from the University of Leeds and our partner galleries view each film, looking at content, structure, delivery and the speaker’s original approach and unique potential before choosing eight entrants to take part in our Summer final.

The Discover Articulation Challenge is part of Articulation, one of the National Gallery’s key learning programmes for young people nationwide. Articulation is delivered in partnership with a network of museums and galleries across the UK. Articulation | Secondary schools | National Gallery, London.
